Indeed campaigns

Cost per candidate & spin, by campaign, grouped by brand account — applies and placements on the ATS basis, never Indeed's own conversion columns. Gold columns: real ATS placements on the analyst's lead model (the lead is Indeed), credited to the campaign of the Indeed apply behind the lead.

How to read this page
  • Applies and candidates come from our own hiring system (ATS), not Indeed’s own numbers. The two disagree a lot week to week, so we use ours. An apply is an application to a real job. A candidate is a distinct person in a week with a real-job apply or an intake touch on the campaign; a window adds up the weekly counts, the same rule /compare uses. Intake counts touches with no job (lead forms, resume pulls, site resume forms): they count as candidates, never as applies.
  • We connect each ad to a job, and the job to the people who applied. Some jobs run under several ads at once; those sit on one shared row so the totals still add up ( of applies).
  • Spins on two bases, never blended. Spins is today’s basis for this page. Spins · last paid touch credits each spin to the candidate’s most recent paid lead on or before the spin, which can be another campaign here or another platform (then it leaves this page). Same people, same NMQ rule.
  • Spins = a recruiter actively worked a candidate. A spin sits on the week of the person’s most recent application (else intake touch) on or before the spin day, the same anchor /compare uses. Indeed rarely says which ad a spin came from, so the campaign is that person’s most recent Indeed application on or before the spin day, never one after it ( of spins resolve to a campaign). The spins whose person has no Indeed application on record sit on the labelled row “(Indeed spin, no Indeed apply on record)”, on their own week, never divided into any campaign’s spend, so the Indeed total ties to /compare. One spin per campaign, person and week.
  • Sourced plc counts REAL placements (a billable placement status) in the week the person’s Indeed lead arrived, so spend and placements describe the same people. Recent weeks look low and grow over time (apply to placement takes about 6 months), so a low recent number means too early, not bad. Made beside it is every placement record on all statuses (Expired, Pending and Fall Off included), shown for reference and never divided into spend.
  • Placed counts real placements that closed in the window, whenever the person first applied. Use it for what closed. It is never divided into spend, so Cost / placement and ROAS pair with Sourced only.
  • Billed is real money billed so far, from (the same file /compare reads). It runs about 4 months behind, so read it as a floor. Billed ROAS = billed / spend.
  • Modeled ROAS = real placements times a discipline’s average revenue, divided by what we spent. A model, shown apart from billing.
  • Spend = cost per click times clicks (Indeed’s “budget spent” is a lifetime total, so we ignore it). It matches the platform total on every settled week.
  • Other = jobs posted outside our system (direct Indeed posts and corporate roles). They spend real money but can’t be traced into the funnel, so those columns are blank on purpose, not zero.
